Wakefield based photographer Wendy Stephens has been photographing her interests for many years. She began shooting in her early life and continues to document many events to this day. She became involved in the gay community when she was in the infamous SEX GARAGE riots which is also known as Montreal's own Stonewall. In 1990, after the attack, she moved to the UK for a year to recover both physically, as well a mentally, from the events. Returning to Montreal, Wendy developed a strong genre for her work...incorporating gay content in almost all of it. She is a professional who allows the subject to be themselves, play acting or otherwise, and captures the true beauty of all who sit in front of her lens.
